Ok, I'm either a very bad blogger, or a very busy Realtor. Guilty on both counts.

This past two weeks have been the busiest I can remember since, well LAST July, when I listed 5 properties in one week. Just before I went on my vacation to the North Georgia mountains, everyone suddenly wanted to make offers, and close deals. I spent at least a half hour to 45 minutes a day on the phone and emailing, closing two deals while I was "gone." That's ok...I did it with my feet up on the railing of our cabin, looking out over the mountains, knowing I had no other appointments to make that day.

North Georgia was where I bought an acre and 3/4 of land last year. The developer gives you a week for free in one of their cabins (it's really a house, a 3/2 with a basement and full kitchen, A/C, etc). So we went up and really enjoyed. My property has yet to be built on, but we walked around on it, made some plans that we'll have fun batting around for a while, and hopefully within a year I'll have a nice getaway home sitting there, with a big deck to sit there and enjoy the view. By the way, if you look at my home page, at the bottom, and see that picture that asks, "Are the mountains calling you?" That is actually a picture of the view from my lot in Talking Rock, Georgia.

Three new properties listed this past two weeks, and the pricing system I am using is working. We CAN move homes in this market, when seller and Realtor communicate and are on the same page. That's what I love to do--sail the ship by standing next to the customer, who really is at the helm, and just advise what the ocean is doing, how the boat is going to respond, and just how and where we should steer. (My Dad would have liked that one!)
